You end up with a sweet little feline model helping you out.
pattern: zig and zag sock yarn pram baby blanket, by Debbie Orr
yarn: knit picks felici sport self-striping, "too cool," 4 skeins
needles: US 6 Clover bamboo circs (4.0 mm)
notes:
Easy pattern that doesn't involve too much concentration. It knit up quickly (mainly on the plane and while waiting in airports), but the end result is a pretty tiny blanket. Definitely a pram or carseat blanket.
Try working at the computer? (Or in this case, take a break and catch up on my Google Reader feed.)
The results are similar. Silly cats. They are such sweethearts, though.

the cats color and eyes perfectly compliment the blanket!
Such sweet helpers!
Hahahaha, I love cats. :) And yours are particularly adorable! I like how she's looking at you in the first photo like, "What? You DIDN'T want me sitting right in front of your baby blanket?" (Which is gorgeous, btw.)
Why would you want to take a picture of a beautiful baby blanket when you have THAT? Honestly.
And I can see they're just trying to help you out on the computer.....
I love social cats. One of ours is so shy she's barely here!
They are too cute! I love that little dilute tortie.
Your little helpers are like my little helper! Do they also like sitting on your wrists while you type? It's no wonder my Catharine-in-knitting quotient has gone way up.
I hope you had a great Memorial Day weekend!
Oh, kitties! I know exactly what you mean ... in fact, I have a kitty helping me type this as we speak ... Obviously, you needed their help. ;-)
