kisses, blankies, and scarves

My 10-year old cousin gave me this ENORMOUS Hershey's Kiss for Christmas. That is one solid chunk of chocolate, not exactly what I need to keep up my strength for my New Year's resolution to live more healthfully.

Here's a pink baby blanket for Project Linus. It's just a basic feather and fan pattern with chunky yarn on big needles, and it makes for great TV knitting.

Wavy is ever so slowly growing. It's still not my favorite thing to knit, but I think I'll like and use the the end result, so I'll just plug away at it.

I'm not too big on New Year's resolutions, so I'm keeping it fairly simple this year. Like I said, I'm trying to live more healthfully. Other ideas for the new year:

- pack my gym bag at night instead of running around like a crazy person in the morning
- spend more quality time with Paul doing things that we genuinely enjoy
- make homemade pizza more often
- brush the cats even though they despise it
- spend less, save more

I have been playing around with making pizza at home too. Recently I made one on foccacia bread and it turned out pretty good!

I love the blanket & the scarf. Sorry it is such a crappy knit!! I know it will turn out the to be just lovely!

Now that huge kiss would surely ruin my resolve! Stick to your plan! I know you can do it!!!! :)

The blanket is lovely. I'm also planning to do some knitting for the Linus Project, once I've finished something for you (hee hee!) and my last red scarf.

And get your coffee pot warmed up!
