We had to say good-bye to our dear, sweet Capricha
cat after a battle with cancer. She was a wonderful, good-natured
girl right up until the end, and we miss her dreadfully.
Capricha was my constant companion, always greeting me at the front door when I got home. She would writhe around in joy, showing off her belly, seeking attention and petting.
She was a great snuggler, a lover of laps and cozy blankets.
We adopted Kylie and Capricha right after we moved to Chicago, and it seems as if a chapter of my life has ended. Losing both in such rapid succession has been very hard.

Oh Jodi, I'm so sorry :-( What a year for our cats - I had Alice euthanized in April because of cancer. Your kitties were very lucky to have been adopted by you and to have had so many handmade blankets etc. to snuggle in.
So sorry about this event in your life. Lucky cats to have been adopted by someone who loved them so very much. May the love they gave you in return give you peace.

Oh no, I'm so sorry! Although you must be feeling terrible right now, I hope you can take some comfort in the many happy memories you have of Capricha (and Kylie).

Oh no, Jodi, I am so sorry. :( How awful to lose both kitties in such a short period of time...I can't imagine. This is probably really silly, but I picture sweet Capricha frolicking with my dear Stewart (gone over a year and still missed terribly) in a room full of giant laps. Will be thinking about you.

Oh dear. I'm a month behind in blogs so am just now reading about your loss. I'm so sorry. The companionship of a cat is one of life's pleasures, in my opinion.
Shame on me for not keeping up with you and your sweet babies. I'm sorry that both Kylie and Capricha have both passed away. Forlorn seems to capture the feeling exactly.
