A completed Rosie Posie Grannie Square afghan, at long last!
I crocheted all the squares while I was pregnant with Erik, but abandoned it after his birth when I didn't have the gumption to tackle the finishing work.
Squares joined, ends woven in, border added, and ready for Bridget to enjoy. Sorry, Erik! As the first child, you have plenty of handmade blankets to enjoy already. (More details on my Ravelry project page.)

So cute! And also, nice blanket. :)
So pretty all around!
Lovely model (and knits). That little green sweater is fantastic - do you think you could unvent it to write up the pattern if you don't have enough detail in your notes?
What a beautiful mother and baby!
What a gorgeous blanket. I'm sure Erik won't mind it being for his beautiful baby sister.
Gorgeous blanket! Adorable baby!
What a beautiful blanket. It feels so good to finish up an old WIP,doesn't it?
Bridget looks so cute in her gifted knits, but it doesn't seem like she was in the mood for a photo! Oh well, she'll survive!
Beautiful afghan!! I don't mind making the squares, but I have a very difficult time with joining them. ha It's just such a chore. You've done wonderful craft here. It gives me inspiration to at least look at the squares I have in a tote somewhere. :-)
And most of all: what a beautiful baby in her cute little sweater/hat ensemble.
You look absolutely radiant - congratulations! The afghan brings back memories of my mother but the pastel colors are absolutely baby sweetness and not grandmotherly at all. Beautiful baby, beautiful sweater :)
Oh wow, that blanket is stunning!!
