giveaway

Knitting is awesome, as everyone from your grandmother to Julia Roberts knows.  While filming Larry Crowne, Tom Hanks played a pretty darn cute practical joke on Julia Roberts:

That's a lot of newbie knitters! Julia Roberts looks genuinely pleased, doesn't she? I've always loved Tom Hanks as bookstore mogul Joe Fox in You've Got Mail, opposite the ever-adorable Meg Ryan.
The folks behind Larry Crowne have generously offered a prize! Want to see the movie?

One (1) winner will receive:
·         $25 Fandango Gift Card to see Larry Crowne
·         Larry Crowne t-shirt and notebook

Prizing courtesy of Universal Pictures
Giveaway is open to US and Canadian mailing addresses only

To enter, leave a comment by this Friday (7/15). I'll draw a winner on Saturday morning!

That is so precious! What a way for everyone to come together. Also a great way for me to start my day with my coffee, some yarn, and a smile.

It doesn't look like too many of them actually picked up on how to knit, but what a cute setup.

I really liked his character in You've Got Mail too. And he and Meg Ryan had screen chemistry. I really like Julia Roberts too and bet they would make a good combination.

What a fabulous video! I especially liked the guy who got himself all tangled up in the yarn. That takes effort!

I just love Julia Roberts. She seems like just a nice person to be around. I've never heard any stories about her being mean or difficult.

I rarely go to the movies anymore since I like to be able to see what I am knitting.

Did you know there are a number of other actresses who knit as well? Easy to do while waiting on the set I guess.

I love Tom Hanks in anything! I had read that Julia loved to knit so this was a really cute prank. Plus, they learned a great skill!

I will give this film a chance in spite of poor reviews locally, as it does sound like one I will love. I've learned not to trust reviewers! Thanks for posting this, and also for offering a chance to win!

Great video - thanks for sharing! (I haven't even heard of this movie, so don't include me in the giveaway. I just wanted to let you know I enjoyed the clip.)
